We consider ourselves to be an advanced service using premium chemicals and sealers for all our surfaces. The concrete sealers we use have been specifically chosen for maximum protection and beautification of your areas.
Patterned or coloured concretes look awesome when they are new. Unprotected they can immediately begin to fade due to UV damage and quickly discolour when penetrated by foreign matter.
The 3 below topical sealers harden on top of the concrete and have excellent abrasion, chemical and heat Resistance. They are available in satin or high gloss and have a fast dry time.
Fusion recommends these sealers for colour retention and protection from UV, traffic and penetrates. These sealers also can be used on pavers and tiles to enrich colours.
Envirothane 2000
Two Pack Water Based Extra Clear Epoxy Coating
A & I Coatings ENVIROTHANE 2000 is a two pack water borne very clear epoxy coating with excellent film properties and surface hardness. This self priming and environmentally friendly coating system is ideal as a Concrete coating with excellent adhesion, chemical resistance and tolerance to damp surfaces.
Envirothane 8470
Water Based Two Pack Polyurethane
A & I Coatings ENVIROTHANE 8470 is a unique high performance water borne two pack acrylic polyurethane with exceptional durability. It provides ease of use and VOC compliance. This environmentally friendly fast drying coating has very good yellowing and UV resistance on exterior exposure. May be applied over an epoxy basecoat to provide a durable weather resistant system. It has good abrasion and chemical resistance.
Envirothane 8472
Water Based Two Pack Polyurethane
A & I Coatings ENVIROTHANE 8472 is a water borne two pack acrylic polyurethane which can be applied by brush or roller. This environmentally friendly fast drying coating is VOC compliant and user friendly. It has excellent yellowing and UV resistance on exterior exposure and has very good abrasion and chemical resistance. The sophisticated nature of the film formed gives superior gloss, colour retention and durability.
Non Slip Coating Systems
Topical or top coat sealers are excellent at protecting their substrate. Their disadvantage is they can increase the slip risk when wet and catch people unaware.
Fusion can broadcast CSIRO certified non slip grit into the top coat sealer adding traction to the once smooth surface. The non slip grit comes in 4 different sizes and being semi transparent does not stand out to much.
Non slip grit can be beneficial around swimming pools, common areas, sloped driveways and paths, factories or work areas.
Impregnating sealer
Impregnating or penetrating sealers work by depositing resin particles below the surface of the substrate. Leaving the concrete surface original the slip rating will not change. Penetrating sealers are still excellent at rejecting oils, waters, moulds etc but cannot give a gloss finish.
